A license indicates that an individual has met the minimum requirements established by the NYPSCB to enter practice and/or use Certified Peer Specialist within New York State. A license is valid until the expiration date unless revoked, annulled or suspended by the NYPSCB. The NYPSCB requires that individual licensees periodically register with the NYPSCB and pay a fee in order to actively practice and/or use the Certified Peer Specialist title within New York State.
